Ingredients for Milo Balls:
Please note you will find a full list of ingredients and both the regular and Thermomix instructions in the recipe card below.
- Milo (or malted chocolate powder)
- Sweetened Condensed Milk
- Plain Biscuits (Arnott’s Marie Biscuits or similar)
- Coconut – we recommend using desiccated coconut.
How to Make Milo Balls:
This is a great recipe to make with the kids, they will love helping you to crush the biscuits and roll the mixture into balls. To make, all you need to do is:
Step 1. Crush the biscuits.
Step 2. Add the Milo, coconut and sweetened condensed milk and mix until combined.
Step 3. Scoop up the mixture and roll into balls.
Step 4. Cover in coconut and place into the fridge to chill.
Recipe Hints and Tips:
You can use any type of plain biscuit (such as Arnott’s Marie Biscuits) to make these Milo Balls.
We recommend using desiccated coconut, if you use shredded coconut the consistency of the balls will be different and you will find it harder to cover the balls in coconut.
While I normally roll these Milo Balls in coconut once rolled, you can also roll them in Milo Powder to give them an even bigger Milo hit.
Store Milo Balls in an airtight container in the fridge and consume within one week.
This recipe is freezer friendly, place into a freezer safe container and store for up to three months.
